Learn the building blocks of clinical supervision
Through this interactive CE program, participants will gain an understanding of the roles and functions of clinical supervision in mental health practice, its purpose, goals and various responsibilities that impact clients and supervisees. We will differentiate the supervisor's administrative, clinical, educational, and evaluative responsibilities. Throughout the course we will take a deeper look into recommendations of balancing actions of a growth fostering supervisor while maintaining evaluative responsibilities, recognizing the importance of these evaluative responsibilities. We will demonstrate the importance of documentation from the inception to the conclusion of the supervision relationship.

From 2023, all licensed health professionals in Illinois are required to take courses on sexual harassment prevention, alzheimer's assessment and treatment, implicit bias training, and mandated reporter training.
